DRD’s Stand N Salute – Raw fed and winning big!

DRD’s Stand N Salute, affectionately known as Rogan, is another of our raw fed pups who is tearing up the show scene! Shown here taking Winners Dog for a major at the Cleveland Crown Classic, it was the icing on the cake for Rogan that weekend! He took Reserve Winner’s Dog on Thursday, Winners Dog on Friday and topped it all off with his major win. Rogan has 10 points already in just 4 weekends out and all from the puppy classes. Why are WE so proud? Rogan has been raw fed his entire life as well as his mom before him! Best of all, his favorite meal is A Place For Paws Raw Green Tripe! Rogan’s mom wants only the best for her special boy and listens when he tells her what that is. Way to go Rogan – hopefully we will be able to keep updated on your progress as you make the rest of the way towards your championship!

Raw Fed Superstar!

We love to hear about our clients and their gorgeous dogs and their wonderful achievements – especially when they tell us that A Place For Paws Raw got them where they are! Meet Logan – a Cavalier King Charles spaniel who is poised to win Puppy Of the Year at the Cavalier Specialty in the beginning of December in Nashville Tennessee. He finished his junior warrant and championship at only 14 months of age under Breeder English Judges! His mom Mimi believes that his gorgeous structure and incredible coat is due in large part to his consumption of APFP Raw! We, of course, are tickled to be part of Logan’s rise to stardom. Good luck Logan – we know that you can do it in Nashville!

Raw fed parents make healthy raw puppies!

How do you get the healthiest puppies imaginable? How do you make sure that mama has enough milk and that its the best it can be? Feed raw of course! Mimi Hodges did just that with her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Amy, and was blessed with the most gorgeous litter imaginable!

Who Loves Their Raw Green Tripe???

Jessica Meier of Michigan feels certain that the favorite food in her house is APFP Raw Green Tripe with a side order of our Venison Jerky Treats. Both her dachshunds and tollers adore the stuff. Jessica took her tollers to the Canandian Nationals recently and we anxiously await news on how the pups did!:

“Wow, my dogs love your tripe! It is soo nice! Nice and
bloody the tollers and dachsies have much improved digestion
on it. When I pull out the tripe for dinner, everybody
starts to bark! All of my friends know not to call my
house between three and four oclock, as this is
feeding time. My dogs have lovely coats and teeth as
well. At dog class the other night I opened up a package of
venison jerky. everybody’s dog was in my pocket. when
I was asked what I was using, I promptly wrote down
the website.

On The Road Again

Every so often we like to stretch our legs and get out of town – it gets boring staying in one place!

If you live in the Cincinnati area you might want to check us out at Petquest 2007 July 6-8 at the Drawbridge Inn, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky where we will have a booth set up with lots of stuff to buy for you and your dog! We will be on hand to answer any and all questions as well as to take orders for our raw dog food. We will have toys, treats, training aids, Lupine collars and cool human stuff too! If you happen to be in the area we would love to have you stop by and see us!

In August you will find us as always at the Canfield Fairgrounds in scenic Canfield, Ohio for the Steel Valley Cluster Dog Show. Beginning on August 1st and running through the 5th, APFP will have our booth in the same spot as always waiting to service your pet’s needs! Whether you are showing or just visiting and supporting YOUR favorite breed, we hope that you will spend some time with us and learn more about the wonderful products that we offer you and your pets. Lots of fun to be had at the dog show! Come on out and see us!

Navy loves his A Place For Paws RAW!

Vistah’s Navy (aka Navy) and his mom Kathy Ross, are new to our RAW family having just started on our fabulous mixes a short time ago. Navy has done incredibly well with the switch and begs for more! He started with our Beef & Bone mixture, moved on to our Turkey & Veggie mixture and was ready to find more! He is now working his way through turkey necks, chicken backs and plans on sampling each and every one of our terrific mixes! As you can see in the photo, Navy has had quite a few wonderful accomplishments as he poses with his ribbons which include first place in his class, Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex. His stunning good looks also earned him wins 4 out of 5 days at the recent New Castle dog shows as well as a Group Three!! WAY TO GO HANDSOME BOY!! We will definately keep an eye on this rising star as he is destined to quickly finish his championship in no time flat! Navy is certainly on of the poster pups for raw fed show dogs and beloved pets everywhere!
